Welcome to the Tennyson Middle School Library !
Our library is an exciting place to be, with thousands of new books for you to read. We have genrefied our fiction collection--it is set up by genres, like a bookstore. This system makes it easier for our students to find new books to read and love. Our non-fiction collection remains shelved using the Dewey Decimal System. In addition to our physical collection of books, we have added thousands of ebooks and audio books for our students to enjoy. These books are available using the Sora App, accessed through Clever.
We are open during school hours. Students are also able to stop in and check out books after 8am and until 4:45pm everyday. Our library hosts the STEM+ Makers Club that meets on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30p, the Book Club that meets during lunch on Fridays and the Super Secret Card Club that meets alternating Tuesdays during lunch.

TMS Library Vision:
We will empower individuals to explore their potential, pursue their passions, and positively influence their communities by supporting information and digital literacy.
TMS Library Mission:
Our library promotes the education of the whole individual by exposing them to a diversity of perspectives, ideas and knowledge through digital and physical resources that support a growth mindset. We foster creative and analytical thinking through the ethical use of technology and information systems in the support of life-long learning. We strive to create a welcoming environment where generosity, respect, integrity and teamwork (GRIT) are valued.
