Tennyson Middle School Celebrates Outstanding Readers at Annual Readers Society Celebration

The Tennyson Middle School Readers Society Celebration was a tremendous success, filled with student enthusiasm and well-deserved recognition. Students cheered on their peers in a joyful celebration of reading and academic achievement.

This year's standout honoree is Evangeline Packer, who earned the TMS Top Reader Award after reading an incredible 251 books this school year — a remarkable feat made even more impressive by the fact that this is her third consecutive year winning the award.

This year's Top 5 Readers are:

  • Evangeline Packer — 251 books
  • Miriah Riggins — 152 books
  • Cato Nix — 102 books
  • Eliana Packer — 101 books
  • Elizabeth Fox — 73 books

The TMS Readers Society also proudly recognizes its Top 100 Readers — students who each read a minimum of 19 books during the school year. All honorees have received certificates, and their names and accomplishments are featured here.

"Watching our students celebrate each other's love of reading is one of the greatest highlights of my year," said TMS Librarian Mrs. Cannon. "These students are proof that when young readers are encouraged and celebrated, incredible things happen. We are so proud of every single one of them."

Tennyson Middle School congratulates all of its readers on an exceptional year.
