7th Grade

Mrs. Alrissa Inubiaraiye-Dunn

My name is Mrs. Alrissa Inubiaraiye-Dunn and this is my second year as a licensed school counselor. I am the counselor for seventh grade. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in English from The University of Texas Arlington and my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Lamar University. I taught sixth and seventh grade English for three years and English as a Second Language for one year. I then joined Tennyson Middle School as a counselor and am now in my second year serving as the counselor for cohort 2028. I love spending time with my husband and our family, serving as youth director and praise and worship leader at church, sports, and shopping. 

 

My Why: I became a school counselor because I wanted to help students academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe all students are capable and have the ability to succeed in anything their hearts desire on their journey to becoming astonishing leaders of the future.
