Mrs. Alesia Schneider

Alesia Schneider is beginning her 23rd year in education. She graduated from Texas A&M with an English degree in 2001 and received her Masters of Curriculum & Instruction from Sam Houston State University in 2018. She then went on to Lamar University for her principal certification. 

Mrs. Schneider spent 14 years teaching ELAR in middle school and 7 years at the high school level. Five of those years were at Waco High where she taught English I for a year and was the English Instructional Specialist for 4 years. Her mentor at Waco High, Lisa Saxenian, brought her into the administrator’s role and molded her to be a leader in Waco ISD and the community. Before coming to Tennyson this year, Mrs. Schneider was a Director of Curriculum & Instruction for a small school district outside of Brownwood, Texas. 

Education is in Mrs. Schneider’s blood. Her mother was an English teacher for 32 years and her brother was a teacher, a principal, and now a superintendent. She herself went into teaching after graduating from college. She has a passion for teaching students and teachers, helping them to grow to be the best they can be. Mrs. Schneider is excited to be at TMS this year and wants to help continue creating a positive school culture and learning environment.
