Ms. Jennifer Emerson

Ms. Emerson began her journey in education in South Carolina, where she built a decade-long foundation of commitment to student success, both in the classroom and through coaching. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Newberry College in 2010. She followed this with a Master of Arts in Teaching from The Citadel in 2012. Her career began at Wando High School and included roles as a Chemistry and AP Biology teacher and coach for the cross country and track teams. After a successful decade as a Wando Warrior, Ms. Emerson and her family relocated to Waco, Texas. She leveraged this transition to focus on educational administration and leadership. She furthered her academic credentials by earning a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She successfully completed her principal certification, preparing her to take on leadership roles within Waco ISD. Jennifer Emerson combines her extensive teaching experience with her advanced training in administration to lead and advocate for students and staff.
