6th Grade
Mr. Bradley Knox
My name is Bradley Knox and I'm Assistant Principal for 6th grade at Tennyson Middle School.
The 2025-2026 school year is my 16th year in education. I graduated from HBCU Tennessee State University in 2010 with undergraduate degrees in Physical Education and Exercise Science. I initially chose education out of a desire to help save lives, heavily motivated after my mother had a heart attack at 48, and my dad had open heart surgery and was diagnosed with diabetes shortly after. I was severely overweight at that time, but later in high school, God graced me with a 60lb weight loss through disciplined eating and increased physical fitness. I was a two year captain of TSU's co-ed collegiate cheerleading squad. Over the years I've taught Health, Physical Education, RESET/Behavior, Credit Recovery, Dropout Preventions and facilitated ISS from elementary to high school in multiple states. I've taught in Tennessee, Montana and Texas. My family and I moved to Waco in 2018 to teach at West Avenue Elementary as RESET/Behavior teacher, I was an Administrator in Residence at G L Wiley, and I am going into my third year as an administrator at Tennyson.
I'm grateful to continue serving students, staff and families of Tennyson Middle School. If you need anything feel free to email me or visit the campus; I'll be wearing a yellow vest.
Do not grow weary in doing good for in due time we'll reap a harvest if we don't give up.
Continuing to Move Tennyson Forward Together,
Mr. Knox
